It's a very civilised thing to do.😂 Milk and Honeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11875644940550457953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3600104279112331871.post-79307868085359897312018-09-14T20:35:09.072+10:002018-09-14T20:35:09.072+10:00I would replace the orange juice with lemon juice ...I would replace the orange juice with lemon juice or coconut milk. As long as the liquid to dry ratio stays the same, it should be fine. I used the most recent of Poh's recipes from her new book, in which she uses 5 whole eggs and 2 extra whites. Yes, it was a tall cake to start with, but I cut it in half because I made two cakes, one to keep and one give to a friend.Milk and Honeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11875644940550457953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3600104279112331871.post-82355696004592455742018-09-14T18:01:09.012+10:002018-09-14T18:01:09.012+10:00I was so excited to see this recipe. I don't fancy an orange-flavoured lamington.
Also I found Poh's recipe for orange chiffon cake and she does not use the two extra egg whites. Why have you added them?
Last question... a chiffon cake is very high however your picture of the lamination cake does not look like a chiffon size. Did you cut it in half?
I can't wait to make this cake but just need to be sure of what I am doing.
Thanks so much.
Regards,
AngelaAngelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02562386940084493089noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3600104279112331871.post-43920487461606513102018-09-12T23:14:37.073+10:002018-09-12T23:14:37.073+10:00Really interesting this lovely cake.
