A rather large amount of Maltesers, Oreos and chocolate were consumed during the making of these brownies. I'm glad I got that off my chest.
No-Bake Fudge Brownies
adapted from Martha Stewart
Makes 24
340g dark chocolate, chopped
150ml evaporated milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
3 cups finely ground Oreo cookies
2 cups sweetened coconut flakes, plus extra for sprinkling
1 box Maltesers
1/4 teaspoon salt
Line a 23cm square baking dish with plastic wrap, leaving some to hang over the sides.
Heat the chocolate and evaporated milk in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth and glossy. Remove from the heat and add the vanilla. Stir again and reserve 1/3 cup of the mixture - this will be spread over the brownies.
Combine the Oreos, 2 cups of coconut, 1 cup of Maltesers and the salt in a bowl. Pour in the chocolate mixture and mix gently.
Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared dish. Spread the reserved 1/3 cup of chocolate over the top. Sprinkle the extra coconut over the chocolate and place rows of Maltesers evenly on top. Refrigerate until set, about 2 hours. Remove brownies from pan by lifting the over-hanging plastic wrap. Remove the plastic and cut into 24 brownies.
I want ti try!!! Wawwwww!

The whole "no bake" part makes these extra dangerous! Too good!!!
ReplyDeleteIf I attempted these, the Oreos would be gone in a flash! How simple - even I could make these. (I think.)

ReplyDeleteMygaawd these look amazing! They make it too easy to still my sugar addiction though ;)
ReplyDeleteThese look incredibly dangerous- candy ingredients AND no-bake!? I'd be surprised if the oreos and Maltesers even made it to the brownie :)
