Strawberry Cheesecake Smoothie

Strawberry smoothies this morning, strawberry daiquiris tonight. That's balance, right?

Strawberry Cheesecake Smoothie
Makes 1

1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup low fat Greek yoghurt
30g cream cheese (You could use low fat, but I didn't.)
8-10 strawberries
1 tablespoon rolled oats
1 tablespoon LSA (Linseed, Sunflower seed and almond meal mix)
Agave nectar to taste
Extra low fat Greek yoghurt and a small amount of crumbled Digestive biscuits (or graham crackers) for topping. (I used light Digestives.)

Put all the ingredients except the extra yoghurt and crumbled biscuits into a blender and blitz until smooth. Top with a dollop of yoghurt and crumbled biscuits.

  2. Wow. Drinking strawberry cheesecake through a straw. Why didn't I think of that? It will go well with that burger that I'm going to make...

    1. Mine too - even though it's PINK, so that means it must be good.

  6. Cheesecake in smoothie form = genius. I love the fact that this is pretty darn healthy, but it's got all the trademark delicious elements of cheesecake: oats, seeds and digestives for the 'base' and cheesy, strawberry 'filling'. I want. Possibly with a splash of boozy white rum (why not add the daiquiri TO the cheesecake smoothie?! I want my balance all at once!)
