Espresso Martini













I feel a mega coffee buzz coming on.



 Espresso Martini
Makes 1

30ml espresso (1 shot)
2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (I used Kahlua)
30ml vodka
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon maple syrup

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add all the ingredients and shake vigorously. Strain into a martini glass.

    How did you know? I never ever order cocktails (I'm a whisky on the rocks or white wine gal) but if I see an espresso martini I just can't help myself... And now, I can make them at home :)

      Another thing we have in common. Espresso Martinis feel like dessert - hence I always have to order one.

    That shaker! Oh my goodness.. I'm in love. And that drink sounds so, so me. Vodka, espresso and coffee, the trifecta of all trifectas!

      Haha.I won that shaker at a trivia night. It's the only thing I've won. Better than a box of chocolates... and that's saying something coming from me. Vodka, espresso and coffee - the holy trinity of beverages.
