Natural Muesli





This is the breakfast you have when you want to get a jump on the day. Had too much fried food for dinner last night? A bowl of ice cream before bed? Planning on tacos for lunch and a cupcake for afternoon tea? Don't worry, with a bowlful of this to kick start your day, you'll be ready to take on the world. Granted, it's not Coffee Cake Muffins, but your derrière will thank you for it.

Natural Muesli
from Sunday Life
Makes 8 Serves

2 cups wholegrain rolled oats
2/3 cup unprocessed bran
1/3 cup sunflower seeds
1/3 cup pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
1/2 dried blueberries
1/2 cup toasted natural almonds, roughly chopped
2 tablespoons wheatgerm

Put everything into a bog bowl and mix it up. Store in a airtight container.

To Serve:
Place half a cup of Natural Muesli into a a bowl, then add skim milk or top with yoghurt. Add some chopped fresh fruit on top.
