So I'm drowning my post-holiday sorrows in brownies and milk. It's better than vodka and vodka I guess.

Pour the batter into the pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool in pan on cooling rack.

Allow ganache to firm before cutting brownies.
omg, amazing! your comment made me giggle - brownies and milk definitely beat vodka and vodka :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so much better than vodka, I assure you that! Brownies are just the best. And those looks marvelous. Hmm chocolate :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think the hangover would be quite as bad with this! As a matter of fact, I really can't think of any better way to drown my sorrows. The only problem is, I do believe I might get a little carried away with this and have it slathered from ear to ear whilst completely enjoying every last deep dark chocolaty morsel!
ReplyDeleteI've marked this recipe to try...I love the use of lots of chocolate and cocoa, too! Your photos are a feast for the eyes. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely trying this over the holidays!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are wonderful, too. What camera do you use?
Danielle
Hey Danielle, thanks for your lovely comments. My husband bought me my new camera - a Canon EOS 600D - a couple of months ago. I love it, and him. I'm still finding out what it can do. :)
ReplyDeleteHey little kitchie, I definitely prefer overdosing on chocolate and milk then vodka and vodka!
ReplyDeleteHey Gabrielle. These are for the days when you just want an unadulterated chocolate hit.
ReplyDeleteHehe Leah. I'd love to see that.
