Pretzel S'mores

This is a cheats recipe. Every one needs a cheats recipe... and an excuse to eat half a bag of broken pretzels dipped in Marshmallow Fluff.

Pretzel S'mores
adapted from The Pioneer Woman
Makes 20

40 mini pretzels
1 jar of Marshmallow Fluff (you'll have some left over... you're welcome)
200g milk chocolate, melted
Chocolate sprinkles

Lay 20 pretzels out on a baking paper lined baking tray. Scoop a teaspoon of Marshmallow Fluff onto each pretzel, then top each with the remaining 20 pretzels, making a marshmallow and pretzel sandwich (Doesn't that sound good?). Pop the tray in the freezer for at least 30 minutes so that the Marshmallow Fluff can firm up.

Melt the chocolate on a bowl over a pan of simmering water, don't let the bowl touch the water. Stir now and then until the chocolate has melted. Let it cool to room temperature. Remove the sandwiches from the freezer, dip the sandwiches in the chocolate, allowing the excess to drip off. Sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles while the chocolate is wet. Pop the sandwiches back into the freezer for another 30 minutes to allow them to set. Store the s'mores at room temperature or in the fridge until ready to serve.

  7. Sorry to do that to you Gabrielle. The only remedy: on your way home today, drop by the grocery store and pick up a jar of Marshmallow Fluff, a bag of pretzels and a block of chocolate - these could be in your mouth soon after - and I don't mean by dipping a pretzel in the jar of Marshmallow Fluff and topping it with a piece of chocolate and stuffing into your mouth as you travel home - not really.

  8. Hey Pink Patisserie, that's right. It's all about making, life (and the eating of Marshmallow Fluff, pretzels and chocolate) easier. I'm all about that.

  13. Just wondering how long this will last in the fridge? Now that I have found marshmellow fluff, I'm going to make them. Thanks

  14. To be honest, these don't last that long at my house, but there were a couple still left in the fridge about 3 days after I made them and they were as good as the day they were made. They had kept their structure and the pretzels were still really crisp. Hope that helps.
